Pinezanita OPEN for Camping and RV Sites
Pinezanita RV Park and Campground is OPEN for camping and RV sites. Right now it is crisp, cold and clear-skied with a slight breeze. Some snow still remains in shaded areas, but the skies are clear and bright blue.
Tenant Reminder: Re-Winterize Your Rigs
Tenants should re-winterize their rigs, turn water off, empty your refrigerator and freezer, and re-cover all outside hose bibs before you leave. Power outages will surely be a problem all during this snow season and you will save yourselves refrigerator damage by removing all foods.
Phone Lines
If you are trying to call us for future reservations or checking on your rig, if you can't get through, it may be that our phone service is not working properly during a winter storm.
Just keep trying or

Scenic Drive to Pinezanita
If you're coming up from San Diego on Interstate 8, try the scenic drive through the Laguna mountains instead of taking the Highway 79 exit go a bit further and exit on Sunrise Highway. It's a little bit longer, but the trees and vistas are breathtaking! Roll down your windows and smell the air! The road will end at Highway 79... take a right for two miles and we'll be on the left-hand side of the road. See you soon!
For those of you with big RV rigs, this road is an easier drive with less sharp curves and less driving stress. There are plenty of pull-outs to let faster traffic go by so you can enjoy the drive.
Winter Safety Tip
Stabilicers Lite for Snow and Ice Safety
Last winter I bought Stabilicers Lite to wear when we had snow fall or ice in our Julian mountains. These little metal cleated bands of elastomer fit over all my shoes and kept me and my husband, RobART, from slipping on our icy wooden decks during the winter. We could walk all over the park without slipping! Who would have imagined that these little things could be so powerful!
Stabilicers Lite allowed us to walk confidently up the hill to the Pinezanita Office, to the dumpster, and unload the car safely. The Stabilicers are easy to remove and tuck into a small nylon bag for storage. Just remember to remove them before walking on your wood or linoleum floors or you'll have marks in your flooring.
With aggressive cleats and tread, Stabilicers Lite provide unbeatable traction. Made from the a heavy duty elastomer, the Stabilicers Lite is easy to pull on and take off, while securely fitting both shoes and boots.
Stabilicers Lite's non-replaceable multidirectional steel cleats bite into ice and snow allowing you to stride naturally through winter's worse conditions. This product is ideal for walking, jogging, and light running or light trail hiking.
Should you need heavy durability for outside working jobs, choose the original Stabilicers or the grip of the STABILicers SPORT for cross country runs or rigorous hikes. The STABILicers Lite work perfectly for shopping, walking to work, or light hiking.
Stabilicers Lite Provide
• Lightweight TPE Elastomer holds Stabiicers Lite securely in place.
• Traction tread outsole and cleats simultaneously contact walking surface, providing superior grip on ice, snow, rock, and pavement.
• Multidirectional, case-hardened non-replaceable cleats bite into ice and snow
• Full foot slip protection with heel and forefoot cleats maintains traction throughout your natural stride while walking.
